I started the long-distance trips when I was in high school. I went to Buffalo on a school journey. I discovered the Niagara Falls, Toronto and New York City. Since that day I keep traveling, going to unknown places or not, discovering venues and cultures.
My second hobby is related to the first one. I’ve always loved taking pictures, capturing moments, keeping memories on glossy paper.
I used to take pictures with a compact camera, until that day when I’ve decided to learn photography.
When I started
I started photography in 2008 before spending one-year abroad in New Zealand.
I knew that I was going to see a lot of wonderful places, so I wanted to capture them. And I was right. New Zealand was amazing !
So you will find a lot of photos from the country of Kiwis, but also from Fiji, Hong Kong, Canada, USA, and of course Europe where I like to spend weekends or short vacations in cities like Prague, Barcelone, London…
Thank God for lowcost companies !
What I use
I started photography with a Nikon D60 with 16-85mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR and 50mm f/1.4G lenses.
I’m now using a Nikon D7000.
I’m not a big fan of Photoshop, I mean, I don’t really know how to use it, so most of my pictures are untreated. It is also because I like reality, and I want to keep souvenirs of places such as I’ve seen them.
